Dunno about that, I like em with hoooge black leather recaro buckets. They also dont look too bad from the outside with nice wheels and lowered.
Fast as fcuk as well which is what counts!!
But to the point any one had serious head and cam work done on a clio?
Yeah, I WISH I had that much money
I got the brochure with all their stuff - after tax its nearly £8k
Saph Cossies only cost about £4k-£5k now and are already that powerful.
I Was thinking about getting a Saphire Cossie but I think the insurance is gonna be too much. Has any one got any experience with getting their head ported etc, cams and chips?
I heard some one mention that they got up to 144 mph?
Im frustrated cause my mates pristine Escort Cossie keeps...
This is the pulse site http://www.locallife.co.uk/pulsecaraudio/main.htmhttp://www.locallife.co.uk/pulsecaraudio/main.htm - the only shops I know of are Stanford le Hope, Hadleigh and a new one in Chelmsford - all Essex.
Ill give them a try - they make boxes in there so could get it sorted quite easily if its possible.
Ive had an annoying buzz off the smaller Eclipse amp that runs the 6x9s for ages and finally figured out what it was last night so relieved about that.
I had used the output from that to go to...
Its loud and clear theres no problems there - have a pro plus 2x340w amp bridged into it. It just doesnt have the long low bass.
I used to have a Kenny tornado 12" in a hoooge ported box running off a Sony XM504 4 channel amp and it sounded awsome, that is until some theiving wnker decided he...
I have a 12" Eclipse sub in a sealed box and am not impressed with the bass lines. Should really have guessed it would be punchy more than long but hey!
Any way - does any one know if this type of sub can be used in a ported box to give it that longer deeper bass note?
Also - the wire from the cross over to the component on the drivers side has broken some where, any one know what kinda a job it is to run a wire through the odd looking rubber seal on the door?
£249 inc VAT at Hill Power for spings and labour, just got a price list of bits through from him.
Im getting mine done at BB tuning on Saturday for £160ish though!!
I fcuked up my RT so bad the piper-x air filter shot off the top of the throttle body!!
£500 fitted including a newer engine on 26k miles. - Cant argue with that!!
Only took a few days to find an engine and get a garage to fit it for me too.
Easy lads!!
Starting with a safe and driveable 35mm !
I have to take some lads to footie sunday mornings cant be going too low that I cant even turn the wheels!!
My RT nearly took the rear tires off without any one in the back!!
Gonna be lowering the old girl on Saturday - gotta 100 mile round trip to BB tuning!
Already got 17 fox premiers on there so thinking its gonna look sweet.
Once its done I will try and put some before and after pictures to see what you guys all think.
Only thing that worries me is how low...
Im sure this is the same guy that says it does 127mph!
In a 1.2 for crying out loud!!
My mate has one - he thinks it one of the slowest things hes driven.
No offence to any one with one, theyre just not made for that kinda thing - hence group 3 insurance.
I was contemplating putting one of these on my valver, but was warned against it for a few reasons.
1) It would need to be adjusted using a rolling road/fuel pressure gauge to get it set up correctly. BB tunning do this but its not cheap (£185 for the valve and fitting)
2) If you havent had...
They got strange ratios - my old mans 1.8 16v Escort was alot faster in each gear but it took alot longer to get there.
Oh yeah - and its an Escort!!
Reckon mines about the same as yours with 17s on.
I used to have an RT and I blew the engine up last year, I thought about sticking a GTT lump on but didnt know any one that did it.
Was it Andy at BB tuning that did the conversion for you?
Dont mention the "L" word (loan)
I have about £12.5k to pay off and have hardly anything to show for it!!
Hence - I can only dream about such work being done to my car!
Has any one checked out the Hill Power sight lately?
The pics of the Valver engines on throttle bodies look the nuts - any one wanna sponsor me for this conversion as Im a little short of funds!!
In return for the cash youll get the pleasure knowing some one else is very happy!
I didnt bother cause Im lazy but it wouldnt hurt to find out I guess, Id actually be quite interested cause I dont know if the problems been sorted on my valver.
