They charge £80 for the first hour and £50 per hour thereafter but a Clio shouldn't take more than 1 hour, Just give everything a blast of WD40 before you go so that it's easier for them to adjust :) Corner weighting is an additional £50! They will be able to give you advice on what settings to...
Thanks for all the message of good luck :)! Unfortunately had a pants day! Done 20 minutes and the bearing the coilover is knackered causing massive play. That was the day over really so another wasted day at Anglesey :(, massive thanks to Fred who was going to lend us some suspension which was...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Ps the forecast for the test day looks HORRIBLE :dead: lol! Wish me luck for two/three nights camping!

Setting off at 9 in the morning to head over to Anglesey :) The wheels arrived at 4pm today so nice and tight for time! Had to get my Italian pal to speak with OZ Italy and get the UPS details as was unsure...
If you get stuck Ian and can't wait for Renault then I have got one good one that you can have until Renault can get you sorted (Didn't know if you need one or two)
Gosh mate that has taken a while :( I think I will have the same issue on Saturday with the second set of wheels! Glad you got it sorted. Calculated my journey and seem to think around 2.30pm :)
I had a to get some new stub axle's pronto the other month and fit a set from a 172 cup, they are the thinner one's as the wheel's fitted to those cars are of a lower offset. The 182 one's that I removed (Damaged) were 18mm thick at the bottom. Ian have you noticed any other difference with the...

Haha yeah! Al said he wasn't sure now when he text me earlier! It has already got some orange livery drawn up ready to be cut and put on but doubt that will happen anytime soon as got plenty of other things to...
Thanks for the input Yanoo :) Okay right well I will check those two out when I get the car back and go from there! Sorry I don't understand the part about the built in pivot :o lol! Maybe I will when i'm under the car :)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Haha green would be pretty funny! Can't get my money back unfortunately but the new material has arrived and i'm sure it will look good! It's a darker grey from what i've been told so will be interesting to...

Haha thanks for the photo Stu I think I might see it Monday morning before it gets wrapped but good to see it in silver again :) Al says he like it in this colour what did you think?
I think it looks really...
Just measured it for you mate and its 18mm thick on each side. Thats only done with a ruler as I didn't have my vernier callipers to hand but should be accurate enough! The photo above shows the difference in thickness between the two! Hope that helps :)
I doubt the club will do anything mate! They will welcome it with open arms because it's great publicity for them and also if more people do come and watch then it's more money for the circuit/club!
No worries mate I'm always happy to help out :) Try and do one with Apex if you can as that way I can bring my car and we can have a play lol! Howard (The guy at Anglesey) is the head instructor for them and they give free tuition which is always a bonus! I think their days are cheapest at...

Current one's i'm not too sure but should have stiffer and shorter one's arriving for the test next week so that we can but the platform adjusters back in and hopefully should improve things :)
I know mate I...
Oiii you've already got 2 drivers! I've reserved Plato for the weekend :approve: lol!
I read through the list and thought something didn't sound right when I read his name but didn't realise until Jay told me! He is going to be quick!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
I know I'm really confused by it as I also changed the stub axle's so they can't be at fault, the rear beam is even pretty good when it gets the geo checked! All I can think is either a dodgy bearing from...

Anglesey final instructions have arrived today :) Getting really excited now!
Practice/Quali at 10.40 for 30 minutes so an extra 10 minutes compared to Brands which will be handy :)
Race is at 15.10 for 40...
Mmm yeah the pictures do look like the rear's are soft in relation to the front's, What geo settings do you have it set to? I would try a couple of turns up at the front and a bit of toe out, if that doesn't help then maybe a very slight toe out on the rear! I'm having a play with some of this...
Agree fully with this :)
Phil PF97 are a Performance Friction pad and are good I ran them in the Alcon's the pad is very strong and in my callipers a little too strong for me at the moment but in a stock callipers they could be ideal!
It's a shame you don't have adjustable suspension but...
Honestly Phil I really dislike the 2500's I used two sets on my R27 and couldn't make them last either! Tried different disc's and still didn't like them! Try a different pad before putting 4 pot's on, i'm sure you will be able to get something you like :)
PM coming your way!
