I’m interested in the brembo grp N discs are they £65
ea. Or for the pair, also have you got a price/compound
List for the pads. I am ok for brake hoses, I’ve got some
Goodrich ones (I know a guy who works for them)
Cheers, benji

172 is not one coil per cylinder - its a coil pack (just one unit).
sounds like youve got a missfire, they should have found the problem there and then, its not a difficult engine to diagnose problems on.
ive just sort of scanned the last couple of pages, but if you want to know the power figure at the fly run it up on the bench (cell),. or better stick it on the track and see how it drives!
i used to attend rtas and i would say all walked away from that. ive seen some nasty/distressing stuff, i never used to wear my seatbelt till i worked for x. i do now i tell ya!! it kind of wakes you up, slows you down a bit too!
yeah possibly, gotta phone gsf tomorrow again, and i got the number for brembo too, but its on my pad at work. will ask if they fit yours then if you like. what you got exactly? i.e year ect. i only paid £26+ vat each too:)

i got 2 of those sat by me alledgedly for my 172
so did i... and this guy has sent me 260 ishmm jobbies, he also says no-one does grooved or drilled (i.e fast road/track) discs in this fitment. dont worry i know different. but my problem is i got two brembo max grooved discs here, that i dont think will fit!!
does anyone know the size of front brake discs fitted to clio 172 ph1 2001 on an x plate? spoke to the guy at gsf and he is of the opinoin that there is two different sizes, and he has sent me the correct ones. the part no cross checks to r19,meggy,kangoo and williams. i really dont want to...
seriously the ph2 172 doesnt have a level control? thats really poor!
id have thought that if they didnt have a thumb wheel theyd have self levelers with a proximity switch
data aviailable from renault (phone em tomorrow?) and you need a digital doo-daa (vernier caliper ect) to measure em. but basically if they are badly ridged, cracked, scored or generally f*C&ed change em!!
just change the pads when they look out. before they are down to the metals/rivets, some have a wear indicator ridge on the lining material, some dont. the manufacturer will state a minimum thickness but its usually b****cks! disc thickness however is important!
