Basically i need to insure a car for just tomorrow but Renault wont insure me on it as it's a GTI and i'm not 21.
I was going to set up a new policy with admiral/elephant (well, anyone really) but i want to cancel it tomorrow as soon as i've got the car back from Sussex to Coventry.
Do...
What were they torqued up to?
Seems a bit worrying!
Maybe i'll just use one set of these and another good brand.
I've heard there are some called evo mkV that are good
Where from and how much? Can't find anywhere on the net
I read a review on Auto Express about them, 5/5 stars.
But it says they use some sort of spinning collar device?
I'm getting paranoid that my wheels are going to get nicked as there have been a few sets going missing around my area (mainly Ford and MG).
Are there any locking nuts that stand out as being particularly good? I'm probably going to stick two sets on each wheel, even though it's not...
I prefer mk2's tbh.
And their are many better looking cars from that period and earlier IMO, whereas the mk2 clio is one of the better looking hatchbacks at current.
They just seem really dated now, whereas the likes of the mk1 and mk2 Golf still look awesome!
On second thoughts, how about scrapping the 2 amps and just having one Genesis Profile 4 Ultra?
Then i could have 2 channels for the components and bridge the other 2 for the sub?
This would suit my budget much better but is it still a viable option?
Right, after ditching my ****ty vibe 12" after it bust, i'm going to save up for a decent SQ system.
Looking at the following stuff so opinions and advice would be appreciated.
HU - Which one?
Pioneer DEH-P8600MP
Alpine CDA-9855R
Pioneer DEH-77MP
It's going into a mk2 golf so...
What's the point anyway?
I don't personally see the obsession with attracting thieves to my sound system, unless you want to impress the 15 year old girls and boys outside the local chippy?
But if you insist in doing so, buy one of these...
I wouldnt got to Carisma just for the fact that theyre so gay on Pimp My Ride!
Plus from what ive seen , their prices are extortionate.
For a more simple retrim i think they would be OTT.
I dont see why people would want to pay it tbh. Weve got like 40-50 years of good driving left in us, why rush into it now?!
Anyway, cheapest i got quoted was £2400 odd with 2yr ncb. My area must have a bad rep
Im gonna need to go and pick up a car possibly next week but i want to insure it for the day as its 140 miles away from me and dont wanna risk driving back uninsured.
Anyone know where does this sort of temporary cover?
Take it to Carisma. I bet Mr Shaw will only charge you about £5000...
I wouldnt take my car to them on principal now that i know they are all a bunch of gimps from watching PMR UK. Apart from the cockney spray dude.
These are the people who do a 300bhp mini cooper s turbo conversion arent they?
Obviously would need to see figures but they dont seem like a company who chat sh*t
Anyone got/had one?
What holds them in place and are they as secure as a normal steering wheel boss when fixed in place?
I might get one on my next car just as an extra deterrent
The thing is the concepts usually look better!
The new Jag XK concept looks awesome but a lot of the distinctive features are missing on the production models
So which products have people found to be the best and how have they applied it to avoid ruining the interior more?!
Remember there was a thread a while back about someone who was trying to sort out a problem with their billabong interior and how easily it stains. Any updates on the situation?
