Would taking the advanced test give me significant insurance discounts? Is anyone on here a member? If so how much does it cost and what does it involve?
Thats lookin good mate, you dont waste any time do ya! I think the silver screws look good, contrasts with the rest of it. So how much did it set you back to make the boxes (money and time). What amp are you using to power them? Make sure its a mono amp (class d) and not a vibe vp4!!

it comes without the fogs afaik
6x9s mounted in a stealth shelf. They are good for bass, i had some vibe ones before and they were a lot bassier than my mates JBL cannon piece of sh*t!
thats my point though, id do this then return it to standard if i sold it on. as for wheels i didnt say id put 18s on, id whack on something like a set of turinis in gold as ive seen one with these on and it looks mint. as for the suspension, i reckon it could still be improved as manufacturers...
id modify anything that is can be changed back to normal, ie brakes, wheels suspension, and probably engine mods. would leave the body standard though.
didnt really wanna spend that much!! got too many other things to save for. the ones im getting are still pretty good though:

i was looking at the alpine type-r components, they have a mounting depth of 70mm but im not sure what i could get away with. Tom what do you have in yours?
i thought LAD did their (claimed) 200bhp conversion that was sold at some of the main dealers. Isnt this what everyone has been discussing in previous posts?
200CUP, best thing you can do is get your car rolling roaded somewhere and see what it is actually putting out.
apparently the standard shocks are good for at least 12 months use with a 60mm drop. Has he got new wheels or the standard ones? im going for 60mm when my free insurance is up.
