Rob how much were your coilovers? And are they the highsport model? Also, arent standard cars higher at the back to balance the car under acceleration?
bam bam the vibe subs arent bad at all for the price, i had two in my car running off a VP3. They are usually £90 each but some bloke was doing the older version for £60 a pair. The new ones are exactly the same technically but look a bit different!! I think Vibe subs are great for the money and...
cheap as in 2 for £60?! ;) im going for one of the active boxes, 12" version. Easy to install and i cant be arsed to fanny about with separate amps etc
yeah very risky as you cant remove the fascia. these are very common for getting stolen. I have the minidisc version and you can remove the face on this
60 will be no problem. i know a lad who has lowered his RT 60mm on 17s. These are the same as a maxim arent they? apart from they are not sports models
ive got a 6 disc changer on order and im planning on sticking it under the passenger seat. its a 2003 dynamique, do i have to remove that black plastic try first? Where do i feed the wires that go from the changer to the headunit as i dont want them on display
Dont know about deals but i think the 1.2 16v is around £8500, mine was £9300 with the billabong pack and air con. Perhaps the most important feature is the fact it got 4*s in the NCAP crash tests, dont know many other small cars that can say that, Mind you it does weigh 1400kg, think a saxo is...
loads of stuff on these:
ABS, EBD?, Automatic lights/wipers, fogs, alloys, spoiler, better suspension(possibly only on the 1.4 up), doors automatically lock when you start moving, rattly sunroof, electric windows/mirrors, slight tints
The full spec list is massive but i cant be arsed to find...

yeah i think its nice but if i were you, i would get the kombat rear and skirts and the bs racing M3 front bumper (on the blue clio) from http://www.bsracing.co.uk/Images/BMWM3ClioBumper1.JPGhttp://www.bsracing.co.uk/Images/BMWM3ClioBumper1.JPG
Thats the combination i was going to go for when...
i went to ripspeed last night and the cheapest i saw them for was £120. Think i might get the infinitys as my mate has a pair going for around £60, the 5000cs model. Hes also giving me the infinity coaxials for the rear. Cheers for the help lads,
Just one more thing, is there an FAQ on how to...
OK bambam, ive seen the phoenix gold ones RRP £85. Will these be better than the Infinitys RRP £120? I know the price doesnt always matter but was just wondering if you had chosen them to fit around my original budget or whether they are just as good. Do they come with crossovers as i cant see...
I was a bit disappointed about this also. They were doing a pair for £10.60 before xmas but i thought it was just an offer, not a closing down sale!! They had none in stock when i asked so i cant see why they have closed down. Philips arent the best at all, youre just jealous Tom!
yeah i was looking at those as well. How much did you pay as ive seen the components for £99.99. Where have you mounted the crossovers and did you amp the speakers up?
cheers
