Right, my mate has a JBL sub and it is in a metal JBL box. He says it makes the bass more deep and all this crap and its so much better than MDF. Can someone give me a decent answer about the facts on this. I reckon hes talking sh*t because i dont see anyone else making metal boxes!!!
cheers
lunner doesnt have a 172, i dont have a 172. and i say still go for the 172. With a bit extra im sure you could have a throttle body conversion an push out a hell of a lot more than a 182. And at least with the 172, many of the first niggles will be sorted already.
And you dont have to have...
fair enough and im sorry for making it sound so harsh but its just how i see it. Theres bin some careless drivers down my street and it pissed me off cuz one of them ended up crashing into the side of my mums car because he was going to fast and lost traction. I didnt even attemp to drive in the...
i really like the the pioneer 77mp as it looks understated. Those kenwood units look awful and tacky IMO. Another option would be the Pioneer 5500MP, this is going for about £180 on http://www.mcs-direct.co.ukwww.mcs-direct.co.uk
i cant really sympathise because you shouldnt have put yourself in this position in such bad weather, sorry mate but theres not really an excuse! I know it sounds harsh but i was driving so cautiously and never got into any bother, even going down my road i just stayed a good 20 metres away from...
Ive just looked on parkers and it says that my 2003 Clio 1.2 16v weighs 1400kg!!! Is this true as that would make it only 150kgs less than a BMW M3:confused:
I know they are quite safe and solid but can they really weigh almost half a ton more than a saxo!?
Hmmmm, i wouldnt even bother with that unless youre going for a full re-build. Anyone selling a GTT with that mileage at that price must have ragged the f**k out of it. If it was in mint condition it would be worth at least a couple of grand
Rich_M, is this a Renault specialist garage? Most garages like to say 60mm is too much as it is on some cars, like the older clio. The thing is they have probably never done it on a new clio and only think it will be too much. RobFenns is lowered 80mm and freds is lowered 110mm on 17s!! Dont be...
I dont think you have to have post codes. i bought mine last month and it didnt have a post code, just the name of the shop where i got them made up. id be interested in a pair of the last ones. What fonts do you do?
I believe they are easier to tune but aside from that, i think they are much better cars. They have more character and have that old skool cool quality. If i could afford it i would have one over a valver any day, even a turbo valver! Mint cars, get one! And if treated well, they arent as...
Didnt realise they were that much!! i thought the adjustables cost that much. i was thinging of getting some FKs later down the line as im too scared to lower it right now! (free insurance wont cover lowering)
