As many people have said before, if you get 40mm youll probably want to sell them before too long and get 60mm springs. 60mm looks really good and most cars that i have seen, the top of the tyre is almost level with the arch
Plus they save a lot of boot space, are easy to install and look the b****cks! Im now getting the 12" version which comes with a flashy chrome grille to protect the sub. This doesnt come with the 10" sub as standard but it can be bought separately if you want for £20...
hmmm, im not convinced by that at all because my mate has a 15" Kicker in his car but it is really out of time with some of the b-lines. I was listening to an Andy C cd last night and some of the bass notes are long but then other tunes have a quick, pumping note. I wouldnt go for anything...
Rob theres a first for everything, lol. Dogmaul what do you mean by making it look like a van?! I definitely dont want limo black tints, too dark for me. BTW im in the West Midlands area.
Id go for a 10" vibe active box myself, the old ones are about £150 now and the newer black air version is about £180. Comes with a sub, tuned box and amp to match and saves a lot of boot space as well as not having to look for a decent amp to match...
Im looking into getting window tints but am unsure of how to go about it. I want them to be legal as a couple of my mates have been fined for having dark smoke all round! I definitely want dark smoke at the back and rear side but should i go for the darkest possible on the front sides or just...
It just consists of simple front/rear splitters and sideskirts. Seems like its a bit of a rip off IMHO as there really isnt much to it. ill try to get pics if i can find some
My Billabong (silver) arrived today and im well chuffed! only had to wait four weeks but it seemed like ages! Now all im waiting for is to sell my old car and await the arrival of my credit card before the modding begins! I would post pics but you all know what they look like in standard form!
right i was looking at getting this 10 disc sony MP3 changer to go with my mini disc headunit.

The thing is i am concerned about two...
right im on a bit of a budget but still want to get a full suspension kit from k-tec for a mk2 clio. i have been looking at their own kit for about £250 (-40mm) and the spax kit for about £300 with -55mm springs. which kit do people recommend out of the two, bearing in mind that i want about...
i think the dares do look slightly different but they are both roughly worth the same and are both decent companies. have a look on http://www.r-tecautodesign.comhttp://www.r-tecautodesign.com and check their wheel ranges for both dare and hijoin (aka hi octane) or a strange H symbol
im getting a vibe cbr12 active. ive currently got two 10" vibes at the moment and although they are in a poor box, they still sound good.
i think the cbr12 active is rated at about 300w RMS but it also has an amplifier built into the box that matches it exactly. This also saves on having to...
SQ = sound quality - how clear and defined the bass is (what i look for)
SPL = sound pressure level - basically the loudness of the sub according to the pressures it produces
I prefer a good SQ sub to give smooth, clear bass rather than it just being loud and distorting like nobodys...
