You need to check wires from the CTS to the ecu . Seems to me that the ecu isn’t getting the info . That said - it’s detecting you pulling off the connector and activating the fail safe . Make sure you’ve checked that the replacement CTS has the 3 pins to match the 3 wires , I’ve seen people...

I haven’t no , not seen the ecu before . Similar money to Omex as well .

Did your ecu and UCH and key fix your problem ?

I’m running an ME221 setup , uses the OE loom , not really what your looking for as your having loom issues . The omex ecu’s & looms that I’ve fitted in the past , I’ve done omex ecu spliced in to OE loom and I’ve done Race Loom fitment also , and obviously the race loom is far easier to work...

I understand you’ve only cut from the aircon ecu to the big plug and UCH , and from the abs harness to the white plug , is that correct @pule333

Fuse 6 & 37 all ok ? Also pin 8 UCH - Pin 4 On ring of key reader . 12v @pin 3 of key reader Earth @pin 2 Fuse 28 feeds the key reader Also pin 9 & 10 is can high and low also . Don’t have a destination for those two @pule333

@pule333 Check pin 27 and 57 from the engine ecu back through the white engine bay plug and the bulkhead harness and through to pin 19 and 20 on the UCH . Make sure none of the pins are bent in the bulkhead connector . Also it’s known the loom can break above the gearbox where it sits . Also...

Only think there is 2 available 110a being the highest. Have you looked into power caps. Voltage storage for the stereo system . I’m no guru by the way.

Red is 12v perm Yellow is 12v switch

Check all your fuses are ok again . I mean with a test lamp so you can see the power is flowing through the fuse .

Rather than me making a new thread , here’s my findings with regards to the cables . I’ve read first line ones are pretty good fitment . So on that note I took the punt and ordered both today . Let’s see what turns up tomorrow. Feel free to use my findings , I hope it helps everyone out for...

The only way to 100% be sure is to check the pins match the wires on the end of the sensors . You’ll have to check continuity I’m afraid
