i use millers oils in all my cars, where i work (we use commercial high power turbocharged diesel engines, in a high stress application. from varying engine suppliers. cummins, volvo & gardiner) we changed oil supplier to millers 8 years ago, and we have not had an engine fail since due to...

yep, i beleive this car did have oil pressure/flow probs, the crank was starved of oil at times (due to its horizontally opposed layout and a weak oil pump) which caused the big end bearings to start knocking usually at about 60k. i have also put 3 engines in pulsar gtirs due to oil pumps...
i had conti sportcontacts on my mr2 turbo, it ripped em to shreds after bout 6k. the n/s/r actually de-laminated when i enthusiastically exited a roundabout! (a chunk of tread about the size of a 50p piece came off, rapidly followed by the rest a mile or so later). was not impressed!

currently on 195/50/15 pilot sxs
i need a good dry weather tyre, with good cornering ability and stability & can handle thrashing down country lanes (lumps, bumps and dodgy cambers)...
if you could see some of the horrific things steel wheel bolts or bolts with incorrect shoulder, does to alloys you wouldnt even be considering it. scary stuff!
i nail mine to the limiter in every gear most days, the only time it gets a break is when eka drives it;)

got a quote for repair, £90 cash (dents/chipsaway) not too bad, but still gonna try to get some cash outta tesco tho
failing that ill take my off road truck (bobtailed v8 rangerover with lift springs and grizzly claw mud pluggers) down there and run over some trolleys!:devilish:
