cant remember the name off the top of my head, but its made by 3m. our bodyshop guys get thru tons of the stuff and we get it in 205s, but the last time the van came round he had some in 500ml bottles for bout £20. a 500ml would last one person a lifetme cos you wouldnt use it all the time, its...
eka was driving the 172 bout 6 months ago, a suicidal badger ran out in front of the car, result; front bumper, rad, air con rad, brake pipes, under tray and a bent front crossmember. bloody animals!
the cold start seems a bit over active in my opinion. the 172/182 seem to run a bit too rich for the first miniute in the morning. causing it to hesitate slightly, doesnt last long. i live with it.
NOT finished my sentence (cat walked on pc! and posted the thread!)
as i was saying i wasnt amused, had to swap cogs quickly nearly put to shame.
anyway all help gratefully received!!:D

7701472353 bumper front £110.38 ex vat .................maybe?
thats what i got one for 3 months ago!
will have to check for you tomorrow, are you interested?
yep, i dont think aircraft style buckles are approved. i had to fit harnesses with normal type buckles to my mates kit car to get it to pass mot/sva. they were 4 point but with normal buckle. odd but looked ok. and worked well when he rolled it :D
the problem will be the harnesses, they would need to be e marked, but still may fail on the mounting points. if u re-fitted the original seatbelts it should pass. i think?
:D!!! that works also mr sheep.. but... i used to do that till my misses had a slightly soft tyre, but couldnt get the cap off to put air in! she ended up putting on the spare, man was i in trouble!:)
theyll nick anything, round my way they like to take my (non chav) stainless steel valve caps, the good news is a tyre fitter friend of mine gave me a bag of 200! theyll get bored before i run out of caps;)
i found mine bout 14 months ago mk1 172 2001 model with 15k miles on it, today it rolled on to the big 20k !:D.. but it wasnt cheap. you get what you pay for
chipsaway just been! top quality job, well impressed! the car looks like new :D
he sorted the stonechips on the bonnet and some scratches on the rear bumper, and polished out all the other little marks around the car. if your in the northants area give him a call 07944 330811
if anyone is intersted i bought some oil in error its labeled as 5w40 fully synthetic but it doesnt meet all the requirements of that grade. its basically a semi, but would probably do well in a valver it cost me £11.50 for 5lts, you can have it for that if you like, pm me if interested.

i will add. i am currently using p-i on my 172 but ive only dropped the front by 15mm and the rear by 25mm. ive had no problems with them and handling/ride is basically unchanged (maybe the turn in is a little crisper). but i wouldnt go lower than that on the 172 with p-i
