hi, all. ive spoken to p-i. the upshot of wich is that the -60mm springs are probably not ideal (understatement). i never reccomend going this low with p-i anyway. they are good for -30, 35mm but any more than that you are looking for a more comprehensive kit ideally. from experience though i...
they should have had the white band, probably some unscrupulus trader (hopefully not me):p... didnt check em properly. the price you paid is for white box springs that should never be sold as p-i !!!! .
pm me if you interested in any solutions................ or buy yourself a nice set of...
nah, yours wernt the ones i saw. it was a black 1.2. there should have been a white band around one of the coils, the springs should have been fitted with this band at the top and facing the rear of the car. cant really see from this pic, but they look ok. but i dont usually recomend the...
are your springs p-i? if so did you fit them with the white band in the correct position (rear), cos if yours are the ones i saw a pic of, they didnt seem quite right??

benji, ( p-i distributor, amongst other things)

the mk1, in my opinion is rare the mk2s seem quite common, and it has a better look to the front end. the mk2 has more toys, but that just slows you down! and thats not the point of the 172!;)
what does everone think of autosmart? the company i work for uses their stuff (we get a van that comes round) and i use it on the clio. today i got a pack off him for £45 inc. shammy, hi wax wash, wheel cleaner, dash dandy, foam lift, valeting gel, window cleaner, polish and a sealer wax. all...
tell the nissan/renalt dealer not to be so lazy!
the corrosion inspection checklist is in your service book, or if they still dont know, tell them to phone a friend.....i.e a dealership that actually knows what its doing!
cheek gets you everywhere:D
question:
these gas guzzling, space hogging, slow driving, road clogging things should be made to pay double road tax (exept those wich are used for the purpose god intended, chewing up the great british countryside!)
yes or no?
ooo....ooo...ooo, may be covered by your contents insurance! or your car insurance, but that would mean the loss of a no-claims! my contents insurance covers keys !
doh! cant find any smug smileys!
