Went into GSF today and picked up this
I asked for a 172 mount and was given that, though it says its kangoo compatible
However, it *seems* reasonably stiff and the buffers fill the support thing so there is no movement!
quickly installed it too, much better than my completely snapped...
:o
didn't see you and i'm normally switched on - were you in the 172? only clio i recall was a greeny coloured one with aftermarket alloys
but yeh, small world!
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
dunno what the 063410 number is, but my engine number is in the form that brun says C00XXXX
:edit: just looked at my spare crankcase and it has 063410 stamped on it too, so it can't be the number
sweet... what kangoo are they for?
reckon this is the same one (from gsf)
101RE0330 - ENGINE MOUNT (TOP) - KANGOO 1.4 8V 98>, KANGOO 1.6 16V 01>, KANGOO 1.9D 98> - 43.25
although it shows up as being the same as
101RE0330 - ENGINE MOUNT (TOP) - CLIO 2, 1.4/1.6 8V/16V 98>06; CLIO 2, 1.9D 98>...
from pirtek, all m12x1.5 i think (or whatever the standard size is)
engine is in and doing well, theres a fair bit of clearance even in the mk1 bay - probably got about 2 inches between the end of the plug and the fan
not sure if the mk2 aux setup would get in the way though :S
the oil...
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
with those prices and the fact that place comes from a recommendation, i'd be rebuilding your current tbh!
as long as the crank is savable :P
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
I couldn't find anywhere (apart from reno) that could do me some F4R rings! :(
'no sir, the F4R is a limited production run by renault, so rings arent easy to get hold of. The F7R is made by Williams, who are able to supple rings easily'
ffs :dapprove:
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
big end = the bigger end of the conrod :p (the top bit of the con-rod which connects to the piston is the small end)
the joints which secure the crank to the crankcase are called the mains :)
:edit: too slow :dapprove:
