cool! I missed the part with the electric PAS pump what was it from? output pressures the same as the mechanical pump? also, how does it wire in? off the fuel pump relay?

sorry if i'm being a little dumb, but do the new brackets replace the existing ancillary brackets or run along side them?

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project the mk1s do have them.. it's linked to the rear beam so can adjust the braking force based on the height of the beam (ie if the back is high it assumes youre braking heavily and reduces braking effort at the back... dont see how it could've failed though :(

as above, only need to slide the box across a few inches... can do it in a few hours if you properly pace it!

the circlip holds a washer in place, but the washer should be free to move, so only weld the circlip, not the washer

well some of us have had the circlip pop out, so that's a big point ;) you! mine's still going strong ;)

weld the circlip only to the housing leave the washer behind and the driveshaft free :p

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project yeh, the f4 seems a bit backward in that respect... F7 came with a proper hole for the pressure sender and the probe that goes into the sump did both temp and level (think it only does level on the F4) even if renault didn't want to add the gauges, it could've been added...
