have you had a multimeter on the injector plugs to see if its the injectors or the ecu/wiring at fault?

ph2 gearboxes don't have the speed sensor hole at all :p

1 is gearbox side, 4 is cambelt side, but that would result in misfiring, not hitting the limiter :p

sounds like a huge vacuum leak somewhere :p

think its for the charcoal canister mate, so is a vacuum hose

...fancy helping me out? :D The stalling at idle issue has returned on my 172 and before I go replace every part I thought I'd get it hooked up to the diagnostics! :D I will travel to you obviously :quiet: I *think* it's the lamda as it smells quite rich on idle too, just curious as...

it's not your crank position sensor if the injectors are firing the coilpack has 3 wires, 2 are signal wires from the ecu and the other should be a 12v feed from the ecu (pin 1 i think?) - check you have 12v here?

3? my ph1 loom only had 2 (input and ouput)

the red crash switch? if so, yeh just bridge the connections

according to that, 66 and 29 should be yellow (+12v with ignition on) and 30 should be 12v constantly

pin 70 on the 172 ecu if it makes your tracing any easier wire runs to pin 4 of the red 15pin connector on the clocks

what loom are you running?

might just be an o-ring, that's what was causing my leak

is water temp not done by the normal dash? :S

which engine? f4r uses a 60-1 on the flywheel, mk1 clio 16v/williams is different
