I can see that its not to everyone's taste, but i've seen worse! I think it looks alright mate, but then again, i would say that as i have bright green bits on my car! Lol!
How grippy are the a048's in comparison to the r888's chip? As in a dry track and a damp track? I know the r888's aren't to bad on a damp track so I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
You should have a copy of the certificate if it was FIA approved anyway mate. Allegedly, to get FIA approval you need to use someone who's a coded welder and a sample of their welding has to be sent away for testing/approval.
So I was told anyway! One of the lads who does my welding works on...
The mot law is in force about warning lights, so you guys must've been lucky or have a friendly tester. Just take the clocks out and put some black tape over the light. That's easy enough to do.
Assuming it's a ph2? Can't quite make it out in your avatar.
No there is no chance it would deploy the airbag with the ecu disconnected. I removed all the airbags on mine along with the ecu and all the wiring too. Unless your 100% confident with wiring it's probably not what you want to be doing though as I didn't have any wiring diagrams available, it...
Ignore the chav shite on the website mate. Coilsprings are VERY good at what they do. I've used them for years and I get all my custom springs made by them. I use them on a track car and if they were no good I'd soon find out.
Yeah the colour works so well with mondial blue. The roof vent sets it off nicely as well. Paint is paint mate! It's just a case of getting your supplier to mix it for you. Give them a colour code and that's that. There should be no difference in price whatsoever.
Yeah Kawasaki green would look...
Nah not bothered at all mate. Surely it's a compliment to my taste anyway?! Lol! I get some, shall we say, interesting looks when I drive it on the road!!
I was going to do it a deep pink at one point! Lol! Viper green won because that's the colour of my favourite car! Gt3 Rs! Possibly the...
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
The most I've done was around 48 laps. It helped that I had one of the season tickets though, and at one point was going 3-4 times a year.
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
I'm afraid to say I have to agree with chip on this one. The tf days give a real buzz when your mixing it up with cars and bikes! Yes it's dangerous, by my god is it fun!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
You know where I am mate if you need any help with the loom. I'm not to bad at them! :o
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Yes just fit the biggest alternator you can then mate in that case! The 135amp one may even curl up and die with that much current draw! Lol!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
You can "extend" the length of the track rod arms mate FYI. A bit of fabrication needed, but easily doable.
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Without knowing what the draw of the ignition circuit is, it's hard to say 100% mate, but I doubt it tbh. Worst case scenario is that you need to upgrade to the bigger alternator because it kills the 75amp...
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
A mate of mine did the same with his r27 Clio! The salesmans face must have been a picture as he bounced off the limiter on the way out the dealership!! Lol
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
A mate of mine has this set up on his turboed nova and he used the box of tricks off eBay for controlling the amount of assistance you get. It's not a bad little mod at all either, but I can't say he's ever...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Lol!!
On a side note, I've watched your 'ring lap now. With some kerb action (in the right places) and some adjusted lines, you'll go very fast round there mate.
