Probably won't work but I have been asked if the RS injectors I have for sale on Ebay will fit and work on a 1.4. Would there be any issues with this setup?
A length of 63mm IIRC hose can be attached to the end of the trumpet that connects to the airbox. You can then run this down into the wheel arch where the acoustic valve and straight to the vent at the base of the wheel arch liner. Job done.

I looked into this recently and came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the effort. At best, I will spray it with high temperature paint.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, the phase 1 airbox is the way to go. My setup cost me £40 which includes the airbox, feeds and panel filter.
They were mate. I used a guy called Jonathan about 12 months ago but when I checked the website, his number isn't listed on there. Worth a call though especially if there are a couple of cars.
