Car's like this are normally a good 2nd hand buy. I guarantee the bloke will spend all of Sunday cleaning and polishing it and he will have a cloth in the gloevebox he uses to clean the door shuts etc. while he waits in Kwik Save's car park as his wife Eileen is doing the shopping.
You won't find one for the domestic market. You will be better off taking your bearings etc. to an engineering shop and asking them to do it, won't be expensive. Alternatively, ask a friend or relative if they know anyone with access, I use my old boys at work when needed.
What parts are needed for a 172 cambelt and aux' belt change? I have found the following for the aux' belt:
Idler p/n 8200 065 479
Belt p/n 8200 226 493
Tensioner p/n 8200 429 703
Does anyone have part numbers for the cambelt and fitting kit and also costs for the above and the cambelt...
I have never understood why the standard setup is not sufficient. I remember reading somewhere that, upon release, the phase 1 172 would go from 60-0 faster than a Ferrari 360.
Oops, I didn't realise I'd typed that, it must have been my subconscious taking over.
Still, very good work chaps. At least the Fisher Price doesn't look like a 1.2 ;)
Looks good old bean.
It will be like watching a game of Pong with yourself and Chris' challenging for best looking invalid blue 182.
Nice 3/4 plate as well, much better than that G.A.F cut down number.
