I've not done anything with it to be honest, the previous owner fitted it and said it was on the lowest stiffness setting.
Guess if it's not normal, which I didn't think it would be, I'll have to investigate.
Thanks
The 182 i bought last month, has one of these installed.
I believe it is the 3.0 version.
First thing in the morning when it's cold it feels great. However after a half hour drive to work it gradually gets stiffer and stiffer. Basically it's so stiff that i can push the gear stick over when in...
I found plenty of positive reviews and a few reviews similar to yours to be fair. But this seems to be the case with pretty much every tyre available. I don't tend to be too silly in the wet normally anyway. But if I think they're dangerous I'll be switching them for something more road...
Well i've decided to give them a try, ordered a full set of 4 in 205/45 ZR16 in 180 compound and XL sidewalls, for £280 delivered.
Not a massive saving over the PS3 which i managed to find for £380 including fitting, so once the NS-2R are fitted maybe £60 in it. But I wanted to give these a try...
My brother has decided to sell his MX-5 for some reason, I think he's making a mistake personnally, but if anyone is interested it's up on eBay.

Not the best ad in the world, but it's a nice genuine...
Did you find you had to drive any differently in the wet compared to a decent branded road tyre?
Yeah, but these are roughly £100 more for a set of 4 tyres. I have considered getting a set, but money is a little tight at the minute and I probably shouldn't even be thinking about getting tyres...
Currently I've got T1R's on the car, and i'm not impressed with them, they were on the car when i bought it about 3-4 weeks ago.
I'd like to spend around £75 per tyre ideally, so i've been eyeing the Nankang NS-2R up and looking through threads and reviews etc for a couple of days.
Dry grip is...
I posted this is the wrong section the other day and haven't got a reply yet. So will try again here.
Basically, i've had the 182 for about 3 - 4 weeks now, but over the last couple of weeks at least it's not been running right.
I've had spluttering like the car isn't getting enough fuel had...
Only had the car for about 3 weeks now. But seem to have a problem with it splutting and cutting out that seems to be getting worse.
Initially, i noticed it spluttering slightly when pulling away or speeding up, then returning to normal, this only lasted a second or two, and only happened a...
It's only on sportline springs with cup dampers at the minute, But once any of that needs replacing i'll probably end up getting BC coilovers from Diamond Motors fitted. I wouldn't want to limit options in the future to be honest.
I know ET35 will fit on the rear as i had 16inch 1.2's on my last...
I know, i know.... but i'm still being drawn.
I'd hopefully be keeping the clio too, but the Audi would be for business use mainly. So more comfortable and professional looking, and i've got a suitable family car already, so it would just be me 99% of the time.
Yep, quattro as standard in...
I'm sure this has been answered before, but my searching skills seem poor today.
Currently running the standards 16" wheels on my 182, and as i want to replace the crappy tyres that are on it, i'm thinking about switching to some 15" wheels at the same time. Cheaper tyres making up some of the...
A propper remap is always better than a tuning box. Also take it to a remapper with a good rep with these cars, as a lot just map them to throw more fuel in and it results in lots of black smoke on acceleration.
Don't some places remap these to around 190bhp? I've thought about getting one of these a few times.
I've been wondering if selling my Jetta is a good idea having had the 182 for a couple of weeks now. It's so easy to drive and much more comfortable.
With the Hybrid turbo, it's also a fair bit...
Are the V12 evo 2 a farily new tyre? seems there is a lot of comparison to Pilot Super Sports on various forums. Obviously the concensus is that the PSS are the better tyre, but the V12's are a good option.
I'm leaning towards the V12's now to be honest, the Goodyear F1's are the older version 2...
Whats the go to tyre these days for a 182 on 16" wheels? The 182 i've just bought has T1R's on it and i'm not impressed.
I've had Rainsport 2's and 3's in the past, which are both two soft in the sidewall and made the car feel like it was rolling over the sidewalls when corning hard. Also had...
