I mentioned it in another thread because im planning to put a 172 engine in a mk1, so can use any mk1 box I've got laying around! :D
On the mk1s its a straight swap of the boxes, imagine the mk2s must be similar? you wont be able to use a mk1 box though, cause of different mounting points and...
there is a school of thought that says if you're going to turbo a lump, use the 1.8 as its naturally revvy
what car you got then Chris? - ironic you getting a 1.8 engine as I get my 172 engine :D

looks like a 172 'box to me
the fork is longer hence the brackets to accommodate. It makes the clutch pedal a lot softer - really needed for the 172 clutch
how well do F4Rs normally pop on overrun? with say a straight through exhaust (decat etc)
my mk1 16v popped beautifully on overrun, don't want to lose that :(
I have a few questions about the mk2 aircon system :quiet:
I know how aircon works etc...
but I'm not sure how it mixes with the conventional heater matrix?
It's my understanding that you can have the aircon switched on and have hot and cold air? (dehumidified)
how does this work...
