I got 350 miles out of a tank recently (36.71mpg), which was about £55 to fill @ 1.269p per litre. Mixed driving, but taking it pretty easy. Normally get anything between 280 and 320 out of £50 at the current rate of about 126.9p per litre.
I had a company Insignia diesel SRi (160bhp version)...
I do a similar commute, roughly 16 miles to work with little traffic, but go through the town Centre to the gym most evening after work. I work 9 till 5 so worst of the traffic and I can still manage 30 - 35 mpg calculated on a full tank, depending on how heavy my foot is
I've had the on board...
Engine dynamics do a turbo conversion kit in 230 bhp or 280 bhp, if you want a simple kit. I believe they fit it too.
Don't know how good they are though
I've just bought a set of RS3's for my new 15's. Mainly for the price (£150 delivered for 4), I'm currently thinking that these will be my winter wheels and i'll then get a nice set of wheels for summer use with something more expensive rubber. But undecided yet.
Been running RS2's for the last...
I've just upgraded our Virgin media package which i thought was a pretty good deal. I have to have Fibre Broadband too so options are a little slim. Pay £50 for 6 months then it goes up to £55 for 6 months. 30mb internet (soon to be 50mb) unlimited, XL tv package with Free BT sports HD, and...
Got 320 miles from full to fuel light coming on, then 340 miles from full to filling up again. £55.50 to fill up at 127p/l, so 35.37 mpg. Computer was actually reading 35.5 mpg, so fairly accurate.
Mostly commuting to and from work mixture of built up areas and country roads, and i drive into...
Never had this done to my car, but seen it a lot where i live, few months after we moved in someone had run along our street and several others slashing tyres, luckily for me it was only down one side of the street, the opposite to ours. Must have done 60-70 cars. Hopefully one day they'll get...
Had my 182 since March last year, having gearbox replaced today due to a failed diff (along with the clutch while its all out), also had to have a new rear caliper, brake senser, dogbone mount and wiring cleaned up.
On buying the car had the belts replaced, disc and pads all round, tyre all...
Sell this due to getting the Clio.
Probably not get any interest on here, but worth a try.

Need to get 182 AC sorted, it's just not blowing out very cold. Anyone got any recommendations for getting this done in Notts, preferrable central Notts. I've found AC/DC Air Conditioning (http://acdcairconditioning.co.uk/) which is a mobile service for £55, anyone used these before? Price sound...
Yep it is your old one then. Guy i bought it off had owned it for 6 years, i assume you were the previous owner before that?
Will get the tyres sorted next time, got a long list of cleaning products to buy.
Brought the car at the beginning of march, fancied a 172/182 for the past few years, but things like insurance cost and house buying have got in the way. So when i gave the company insignia i'd been driving for the past few months back to work and my old punto failed its mot, I started looking...
Had a play around this morning with some electrical tape. Fixed the plastic scuttle panel down best I could (drivers side was loose), then realised the panel was actually raised from the screen slightly, so taped everything down including the top rubber seal and corner sections. This sorted the...
Checked the top windscreen rubber, seems pretty solid. The corner pieces weren't too great, so tried sticking them down with some electrical tape and went out to test it, but it was no better.
I pulled over to check the car over and noticed the lower plastic covers below the window screen...
Not sure why the video doesn't post, link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuUPbRGL8XE
It's just occurred to me that it kind of sounds like a break squeal.
Only had the car for a few weeks, but noticed this whistling noise a couple weeks ago.
Recorded on the way home from work tonight:

I've had a bit of work done to the car...
I had the whole lot done, because there was no history of it ever being done on my car when i brought it.
Mick was recommended to me by other members on here when i asked a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the replys.
There are a couple of different noises, one i believe is from the exhaust which i took a look at last night (cat to centre connection), this is definitely engine revs related, meaning if i press the clutch down and rev the engine the noise still accurs. I managed to...
I got mine done at diamond motors in long eaton a couple weeks ago, good guy and highly recommend by many local to Nottingham. You also get a good discount if you become a full member.
I know there are several threads on this, so i apologise for yet another, but i have searched quite a bit, and i'm still not 100% sure what oil to get for my 182.
I know that the recommend oil from Renault is Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80, which is a GL 4+. I also know that a lot of people also use...
I brought the C110 from Argos last week for £60 (same as the refurbed model linked above). It's excellent, glad i didn't spend any more on a more expensive model as it plenty powerful enough for washing the car with. Though these are generally pretty reliable i reckon its worth the extra £30 for...
Had my 182 for a couple of weeks now and managed 850 miles. My commute to work is a fairly economical run (very little stop start traffic usually), no motorways though, and i can get 40mpg if i drive normally (Driving same speed as cars around me). But i find that with a few blast here and...
I bought my 182 last week, paid £1600 for it, but it's needed belts and dephaser doing, front disc and pads and a full set of tyres, costing me around £1000. It already had a stainless scorpion exhaust, so that was a bonus. Only other things i've done is replace the wiper blades for borsh...
