Virgin have recently made a load of their old DOCSIS-2 equipment redundant without telling anyone. If you've got an old modem such as the Motorola SurfBoard or the Terayon TJ210 which isn't DOCSIS-3 compliant you'll probably find that your modem can no longer connect.
They obviously thought it'd...
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If you're pinging your router's IP address (which is always going to be your computer's default gateway), the packets never even leave your home network. So how does that tell you that there's a problem with the fibre?
All that ping command is doing is...
If the exhaust and de-cat pipe are off-the-shelf systems (i.e; direct replacement for OEM) then the standard cat should fit back in.
If it's a custom jobbie then possibly not.
I'll try and sort mine out first. As I said, I'll be changing the disks and pads soon anyway.
Brakes are about the limit of my mechanical know-how, so I might as well stretch myself to fixing them. If it goes tits up I can use the Focus for work so no biggie.
Could be sticking calipers then. I never brake while cornering - the idea is to do all the braking beforehand.
How would one rectify sticking calipers? Is it just a case of taking them apart, giving them a good clean up then re-greasing and fitting back together?
Do "ipconfig /all" instead. That'll give you more info. As well as giving you the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway it'll give you the DNS server IP addresses.
See if they match those of the computer you're using.
Another solution that may work (although it'll cost)... Citrix!
Get him to connect through a CSG to XenServer and rather than publishing a desktop, just publish all the applications he'll need to do his job. You can then compile reports on how often each app is used and how long for. Running...
You could just leave the rubber caps off for a few days but you'll risk getting s**t in there (a moth in my case). I'd just take them off when the car's stood still. Take the bulb holders off too to get as much air circulating through there as possible.
I told you the other day, try the way I did it...
Take the cap off the headlight every time you park up. It also helps if you can take all the bulb holders out for a few hours so that air can circulate out of the units. The water inside evaporates pretty quickly because it's warmer inside the...
That's amazing!
I love Camaro's anyway. There's something about the newest version that makes me want one, but I can't put my finger on why. (And no it's not Bumblebee from Transformers, although it does look sweet in yellow).
Yes.
You have to configure two sets of credentials for authentication (basically it needs your username and password in two places) - IMAP settings for receiving email and SMTP for sending. If you enter either incorrectly you'll get that error.
OK, so I'm getting ready for new disks and pads all round.
However, I've looked at how much material is on each pad and there's a noticeable difference between the two front pads. The front passenger side pads have about ¾cm of material left on them but the driver's side pads only have about ¼cm...
The KTR top mounts are really good. Good quality and they look nice as well.
As for the engine mounts, the only car I've driven with them fitted is John182rs' and the only thing I noticed is that it vibrates a little on idle. Other than that they seem OK.
If you want the PowerFlex bushes for...
Wouldn't have thought so unless the engine was having forged internals fitted at the same time. The aux belt would have to come off obviously, but the supercharger kits are more or less just a case of bolting the bits on and mapping to suit as far as I'm aware?
Good point, I forgot about that. When we used to use Postini (in my previous, previous, previous job) they were still privately owned.
They used to handle all Yahoo!'s mail too, I don't know if they still do? At one point they were handling 93% of all email sent globally.
If the OS you're accessing is running Windows Vista, 7 or 2008 and you're using the Terminal Services 6 client (downloaded as a Windows Update), RDP will use NLA and SSL / certificate authentication to encrypt the connection and traffic. It's still not perfect, but it's much more secure than it...
MessageLabs are OK as far as filtering and spam blocking goes, but there are way better (and cheaper) solutions out there. A problem I've found with MessageLabs in the past is that they're always changing the IP address ranges used by their servers. A few of our customers are always logging...
Correct. The first one gets you the CCENT, the second one upgrades that to a CCNA.
The CCENT is a bit pointless though IMO. It only shows a basic understanding of networking and doesn't really amount to much in the grand scheme of things. Plus, if you take the two exams separately you'll end up...
I fired up Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition a few weeks ago and was astounded to find over 400 servers still online.
I immediately proceeded to join an Instagib deathmatch with a load of Norwegians who I'm ashamed to say were much better than I was. Epic game though.
