^what he said. Insurance will be invalid in the event of something happening. You might not care about losing your car, but being personally sued if for instance you're involved in a fatal RTA... paying that off for the rest of your life and doing time is less appealing to me personally than...
This !!!
Matched inlets, filter, exhaust+decat.. buckets, bit of stripping.. see how you feel. Cams and bodies later if you feel it needs more grunt when it's due a belt.
Only a lack of MOT stops your insurance being valid in the event of an accident as far as I'm aware. I don't know how it works if the MOT runs out, and it's stolen from a locked garage !? Nothing to do with an MOT there if you see what I mean...

Anyone know if it's worth 'scrubbing in' a set of winter rubber !? Just thinking how awful some new tyres are for the first few miles...
Is it worth putting them on before it gets too cold or surprises us and snows one night, and doing 100 miles on them, to get the moulding surface off...
Dawn probably means tardis... AG tar remover in my experience is OK if you have a few dots, but a PiTA using it on much larger areas.
Also, probably only use it on the lowers and rear but you'll see where it is anyway once the dirt has gone. If you've got tar on your roof, you've got other...
