This actually happened to me today! Must be a common fault, I used a stainless steel cv clip which must be similar to the one Danny has described, however after speaking to james @ stone automotive a jubilee clip is definitely the way to go!

Mine are off to BG on monday and I have been told that they do not JUST unpin them. They upgrade the adjuster allowing the dampers to become adjustable. there is a cost of around 100ish + VAT to do this. I think hile there being refurbished it is defininitely worth doing! James

Easy job! 5torx bolts and two plastic clips takes the dash top off, then I think it's just clipped on? Two plugs off and away you go! I have a spare one of these if your looking ;)
