Added some more stickers to the 'sticker mobile'.....starting to build up the look/colour scheme I am going for! Still have to add rear stripe to tailgate, and the pistonhead logos I want to add, amongst others.
I think the rear bumper needs some more stickers farther out to 'widen' the look of...
The sport badge might be lower actually now I think about it, some nice lady shunted my car from behind in april '08.......they either resprayed my tailgate or gave me a new one so new badges. Not sure which. Was mainly a bit of crumple behind the rear bumper/boot tyre well, which was very well...
Nope, not moved mine.....the clio badges have a plastic pin on the back that goes through a hole in the tailgate, same on all clios AFAIK. So is a nightmare to de-badge etc....
Will add a pair of new ones to the door pillars on mine, car came with only one side on, and in a semi-unstuck state...
Errrr, no......not fashionable at all really.
I guess its like sticking a 'sport' badge on say a 1.2 dynamique. However if you turn your car into a cup, i.e. have fitted a set of suspension from a cup, removed your air-con/xenons/full fat parts, and have the thinner glass fitted, etc.....that...
I'd personally go for it if I bought a 200, I find too many cars look bland and grey inside the cabins.....little splash of colour looks good I think!
Just get what you like the look of most!
Possibly consider resale of the car tho......if you decide to go for it....will a person want to buy...
I was about to post the pistonheads article http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=21170 but see you found it somewhere before me!
I think it looks great, not driven even a standard 133 yet but from what I've heard about them, they are cracking playthings! Want want want! The R2...
There isnt a wrong way to fit them really, wouldnt say you need a close up to get the exactly where they need to be.....
for example, have a look at this thread for a general idea of where it goes (yes I know its hard to see)...
Lovely car fella.......makes me tempted to remove all my 'track look' stickering, and go for a more standard look......yours is beautiful!
I'm slightly curious what sized steelies you are using (guessing 16" 6.5/7J ???) and which tyres to match........and any chance you know how heavy are the...
I had a similar bump in my 2004 '53 plate Cup in Easter 2008, lady ran into the back of me at set of lights. My bumper looked 'ok' at the time, but my boot wouldn't latch without a good slam and the tyrewell in the boot looked much worse than yours. Quite crumpled.
My insurance got on it, was...
I'm looking for the same kind of thing, put a thread up on here too asking for feedback on coilovers up to about £600 worth but not had anyone respond....
There are a few threads with good feedback about the new Ktec Racing KTR coilover kit, which comes within your budget, I'm considering a set...
Finally got about 3 months worth of overtime through from work as they had 'lost my paperwork', have about £600 set aside to put towards a set of coilovers maybe a little more if I think its really worth it. Have my cambelt to pay for too and pay the Mrs for the holiday to NY she kindly put on...
I may just be really slow (or sad) but here goes....
Plugged my Classic iPod and Touch into my xbox 360 to charge them......never tried it before with my xbox on before......I was greeted by a box on screen asking if I wanted to search for music......fully working playlists etc.
Not what I...
The Laguna splitter is about 5 inches too long on both sides, its easier to measure it all up before you attach it and cut the excess off. The excess will be in the way of the tyre and look particulary silly!
I screwed mine on with self tapping screws, predrilled with pilot holes smaller...
Fitted the stripe a few weeks ago but splitter went on this afternoon......
A lot of you may not like what my Cup is turning in to but I'm quite happy with it so far (still not sure on those side stickers though......thinking of removing them and going for some Yellow/Grey R26.R style sides as...
You have politely enlightened us to go in search of Amy's pic.......I went and had a peek this morning, and it was good!
Hai Amy! x Utmost respect for the car too, I love RBs!!!!
I'm looking to have a driveable car, not a slammed one, work has quite a few speedbumps which I need to take into account so 40-45mm on coilovers will prob be what I'm looking for. Not too severe.
Haha! Had exactly the same with insurance (Admiral), I rang them up mid-term, and when I said was...
I normally fill mine up at about 1/8th left (one notch above 'empty').......normally get 240 miles per tank from full. Normally says 30-50ish miles left.
Yes I 'enjoy' my car every day ;) didnt buy it to drive like a granny! Although long runs I'll get 40-42mpg down to Dartford area where my...
Nice car fella!!
Took mine a few weeks to bed in on mine, had its tracking done soon after that and was spot on apparently :S not sure how. Ride is quite stiff on mine even compared to the standard cup springs, but much improved on handling - is a lot more confidence inspiring on bumpy roads...
I was quoted £400 for belts at Renault and then £400 for the rest of the service, inc. filters, fluids etc.....
AFAIK the stealership way of doing the work is to strip down the front end of the car to get to it, hence about 6 hours work (when it can be done without apparently). They told me...
