Possible I guess, but lots of people take the sh*t-guards out and I dont remember anyone mentioning problems in thhe past. I ran my car without them for a few weeks (smashed them on a cone at a trackday :oops: ) and the only side-effect was a bit more wind-noise.

If you spin the wheels it will put the brakes on for you. If you want to go fast (e.g. 1/4 mile race etc) you turn it off. Launch control is a different matter.

Doesnt over-stress it if its installed properly. And dont forget its not running all the time - you only get a quick blast then your bottles empty.

Yes, the computer gives up predicting your remaining mileage when the light comes on.
