Possible I guess, but lots of people take the sh*t-guards out and I dont remember anyone mentioning problems in thhe past. I ran my car without them for a few weeks (smashed them on a cone at a trackday :oops: ) and the only side-effect was a bit more wind-noise.
Yes there were normal Clios with us when we went last year! Everything goes around the ring, cars, bikes, and last year there was a coach full of tourists - I timed his lap at 25 minutes!

If you spin the wheels it will put the brakes on for you. If you want to go fast (e.g. 1/4 mile race etc) you turn it off.
Launch control is a different matter.
