Itll be out in 2005, but dont get too excited. The first models will be 1.2, 1.4 and diesel engines, which account for the greatest volume. Renaultsport version isnt due until 2006, and theres no hard info on engine etc yet.
Depends on your preference really. Theres a school of thought that says front-drive cars work well if you can dial in a bit of oversteer - knackered rear tyres are a good recipe for this!

It does eliminate the rattle, and I believe it makes your car go a bit faster (the noise alone must be worth about 50bhp!)

The standard pads last a long time - I think I got 18,000 out of mine, including a lot of trackdays. Changed them for Tar-ox fast road pads which are a lot better on the track (dont fade).
Mine does that at the moment, and it does seem to get worse as the pads wear. No idea why though.
Of course it could be that the roads are getting worse and your brakes are fine :p
Well we welcome anyone I guess, but I think Chris was asking about more formal welcoming, as in joining the club (or an offshoot of it).
Personally I think that we should retain our alignment with Clio (i.e. all Clios), rather than Renaultsport.

A good set of quotes Jeremy :D Out of the cars Ive driven Id venture to suggest that a VX220 turbo is pretty similar in terms of character and involvement. Costs less too. Having said that Id still buy a Clio V6 if I could live with a 2 seater.
