^^^ I am sitting on the front right wheel if you don’t know me already :D
On Tuesday I had the privilege of being a VIP at the Mclaren Technology centre in Woking.
The place is awesome; we arrived at 10am where we had refreshments and then headed of to the theatre for a presentation on...
We use it at our school on our Online Curriculum.
Each department has a key setup for them so that the teachers can go to the site for their subject, geography say, then decide they want to edit it and aslong as they have the correct key they can make the changes and upload the new files...
Here are a selection of some that I have taken this year. SLR's are great for manual settings allowing you to set the apertures are shutter speeds aswell as other settings like white balance and ISO. Used the shutter speed in manual mode to capture the lightning.
I have the Nikon D70s, the...
No I missed the Renault blow up, sounded quite spectacular from what I heard, had to put alot of cement dust down. Must have been an expensive day for Toyota though, with 2 of their cars coming back on trucks within about 30 mins of each other.
Lewis had a little wobble (see first pic) but...
Went to the F1 testing at Silverstone today, Lewis Hamilton got his first proper run in the Mclaren F1 car today, so I appologise if there are alot of McLaren pictures but I sort of set that as my target of the day. To get some real good ones of Hamiltons first drive in F1.
It was also a...
Good idea, maybe something like a hard drive module (similar size to an ipod) that you could take out to do a software update to, put all your tunes on, background images, and even movies then just slot it back into the head unit to be used in the car.
Something for the future maybe, but they...
I just leave the DVD in, never take it out, I have the Pioneer iPod adapter so thats where I get my music from and can control it all from the HU.
But agreed, DVD probably isnt the best technology seeing as you can now get solid state memory that goes into Gigabytes, still dont think their...
There is a new updated version of this head unit out now with built in bluetooth.

I might not have understood your answer properly but yes they will have to drill to put a new cable into the second sky box. They will put a quad LNB on the dish and from that you will have 1 cable going to your original box (2 if you have sky plus) and then the 2nd (or 3rd) cable going to your...
Was very wet before the race in between the GPM and the British F3000 race earlier, which made for the first 10 laps to be quite action packed and quite abit of it infront of the crowd.
Unfortunately Mansell was never in the race only coming out for a few laps to basically wave at the crowd as...
I have the Fusion ones too, £14 each blade. Seem to work pretty well with pressure applied right to the end of the blade. Also dont get any water drips cought in the framework like you do in normal ones which then flies up the screen in the wind.
Look quite neat on the front too.
Chris

I have the extreme III in my Nikon D70s mainly because it was nice and fast for shooting in burst mode, and so far it hasnt missed a beat, very pleased with Sandisk.
Have to agree, I have never driven one of the Mk2 sports but the 197 was imense as far as I'm concerned after going into from my 1.4 Mk2 Ph3.
Brakes were brilliant too as well as the handling, seemed to be loads of grip and steering felt really smooth as well at the suspension.
Anyway I was...
Seems like a good package to me, good to find a package with an extra lens instead of the ones with cases and memory cards.
55-200mm will do the job as long as you are down at the track fence really, which as some places is'nt always possible.
For example the following pic was taken at...
Alot of people will recommend the Canon 350d which I have to agree is great value for money. If you want an SLR theres only really 2 main players, Nikon and Canon. Personally I went for the Nikon D70s as part of a package camera / lens deal that was on just before christmas.
Personally I...
All pictures are taken with my Nikon D70s DSLR camera. The top 2 pictures are with a Nikon 70-300mm lens and the bottom one is on a Sigma 18-200mm.
