FLOL ! 1k in repairs.
Buy on condition. Buy one with long MOT, and a recent timing/aux belt done. If not, look for at least £500 off the asking price.
I had a ph1 for 2 years and aside from a fresh set of tyres when I powdercoated the wheels, I don't think I spent anything on it due to...
Tax and MOT arrived this morning .. new plates from fancyplates the other day ( I assumed I'd be getting the same plate back ! :o ) as the originals were tatty and had holes in them.
New plates + velcro FTW !
Just got to wait for V5 then the new owner can pick it up !! Hopefully some...
I'd say that was alright, unless all you're doing is 55mph motorway runs....
It's not a very powerful engine, so will need some effort to get going, same reason 1.2's are bad on fuel if you drive them like a 172 !
Wish my car did 55mpg.. I'd be happy haha !
BOOST FTW ! IIRC these came witha kick up the backside in one massive lump at about 2.5k RPM ? Dad had the 'sedan' version.. I loved that car !
I still think these don't really look too dated on the outside... maybe it's just me.
Looks like a tidy example :)
That is one tidy looking car .. (ignoring the exhaust and the cracked wing, which I assume is now fixed ?)
Just some friendly advice...
Leave it standard, save your cash, keep it mint and buy something else in a year or so when you've got some NCB behind you.
If you're having to save...
No air-con in the Med ? You must be crazy ! I don't like having no air-con in the UK....
Take the back seats out .. or lose a few Kgs yourself ;) Probably just as noticeable.

You think that they will protect your wheels ?!
Better off putting a binbag over each wheel. Probably best to use those rubble sacks from B&Q as they are a bit sturdier.
Failing that, get the bus.
I'm very tired, and very childish, and also an idiot... I read "EskimoFit" and started laughing.
Once I read the rest, all I can think of whilst reading (NB: the above) is the wacky waving inflatable arm sketch from Family Guy.
Sorry !
Spoiler .. er .. spoils it.
Wheels are too close a colour to the bodywork so it clashes. Contrast or matching is best to look at.
Also, why did you remove your number plate from the pictures ? Do you drive around with them in the boot so no one can write it down ?!
Ask them for a price at renewal time....? Make sure the excess hasn't gone into orbit.
When renewal time comes, call sky, brentcare and greenlight before you call anyone else.....
Waaaaaaay too much waffle. I got bored before the white box.
Keep it simple ! Straight to the point. Interesting, informative and easy to absorb.
Also - is this in your garage ? Why is there only a mobile number ?

Good luck !!!
Just been taking the Yozza off the Clio, and thought 'that'll make an interesting shot' ... probably just me haha ! :o It's not going on the wall or nowt...! :boring:
Bye Clio, Hi Scoob ! by evil_giraffes_rule, on Flickr
Did you swap it out for the correct type ?!
Pretty obvious if it's blown .. the filament will either be in bits rolling around the bottom of the bulb, or dangling like it's just been cut in two. Give the duff one a gentle shake and you'll see if it's in one piece or not.
Edit: Just seen...
