I have a Sony remote control, steering AND infra red! Just thought I'd use the OEM remote cos it's easier to use and looks better.
Fubar is a legend, I've just read his guide on dash removal. Looks easy enough.
I bought this off a member on here, it's for my 172...

I thought it would hook up to my loom and then to the stereo, but it looks like this hooks up to the positive feed...
I had 4 passengers in my old e36 320i when I did my first controlled power oversteer,.. Was easier than I thought it would be and really predictable.
I've never lift-off oversteered in my Clio. Anyone done this to good effect?
dk = legend!
Just ordered one of these to replace my trusty 4 yr old dell inspiron 1200. It's been doing my head in recently, and I was searching for a replacement, to no avail.
Thanks a lot. Won't even be paying the VAT, so it's a steal at £280!!!

Took the 172 for it's MOT yesterday,.. 6yrs old with 80k under it's belt and it PASSED!
When the garage rang I was shocked. The car's French AND has now passed 2 MOTs on the run.
Anyone else been positively surprised?

At my last service the mechanic (local indy) said there was a squeak from possibly the aux belt/alternator. Said it wasn't serious, but if it got worse to act.
Now I'm just wondering if it could be the aux belt (the...
V.nice and quite rare in the rest of Europe. Nice scenery. Only saw a couple of Sports the whole time we drove in France, and just the one Megane 225 in Switzerland.
I don't mind, I don't want to impress friends and colleagues who think it's just a clio. I think its charm is that it doesn't shout about it's power or have a boyracer image.
I've had people trying to tell me that my tyres are flat, I've explained that's what a low profile tyre looks like...
30 years old! Don't see many old cars at all these days. Healthy supply of cars in the 2nd hand market I guess.
My Dad used to have on of these, well he had a few actually:
I think it's generally accepted that the Renault Sport fellas over in Dieppe did a god job with the set up on the Sports handling wise. I think they acheived a fairly reasonable balance with the choice of 16" 45 profile. Apperance wise they suit the car, and in terms of turn in, tramlining etc...
