Pug 106 electrical help!

Bit of a long shot but maybe someone can help:

Gf's 106 has a fault I think with the alarm relay. When the car is locked up via the fob and the alarm is armed, the indicators front and back (o/s) light, which drains the battery over time.

I've read that I need to either replace the alarm relay or simply cut the wires from the alarm box to the indicators.

If this is right where is the alarm situated? Rich, has your GTi suffered from this yet?

Check the alarm relay as you said or else just cut that wiring out.

Yeah I intend to, I just needed confirmation really of where the alarm is situated. I've had an answer on the pug forum saying it's behind the centre console, sort of above the passenger footwell, so I'll start cutting stuff there first!
