Fantastic circuit, very well-run event. Quite a different driving experience to Bedford - the track has hills and gravel traps, grandstands etc. A much more authentic day.
Magnex is actually a brand name owned by a company called Exhaust Technologies. They own another well-known one - Micron. So tell your stockbroker Exhaust Technologies and youll be ok ;)
You doing Trax Paddy?
No worries with heat from the exhaust - mines quite close - been on the car for about 15 months now.

Magnex say it does. Think of it as a building-block. It may not do much on its own, but once youve sorted out the induction and got a nice re-map youll be glad you have an unrestrictive exhaust.
And anyway, it looks nice :D

If they charged you for it the air filter should be on the bill along with the oil, oil filter, pollen filter and all the other bits they used. They probably looked at it and knew that there was no point changing it. As long as they didnt charge you theyve done you a favour.
Your best bet is probably a trip to Demon Tweeks near Wrexham. They can supply and fit (they did mine) - and they know what theyre doing. Join this club before you buy and youll get a good discount too.
Honestly mate it doesnt matter. I went to one last year and there was some guy in a 1.4 Astra having as much fun as anyone else. You may think your car is slow compared to a valver, but my 172 is bloody slow compared to a Noble M12, and you usually get a few of those on trackdays! As an example...
The HID lights on the 172 are that good - but then the standard lights on the Cup arent that bad! Theyre not available as an option on the Cup anyway, but I wouldnt worry about it too much.
