Even though meguiars tyre gel is not an ideal trim restorer, it's still better to use that rather than anything halfords has to offer, if used correctly

Megs tyre gel for tyres Not sure halfords will have anything amazing for trim, but the tyre gel works well for trim also

Have you ever though about Getting it rooted then flashing a new rom to it? Can be quite complicated for a beginner but really unleashes the phones power and ability I did this with mine, chances are xda developers or Modaco have already made it possible for ICS
