Wireless is no match for a cable. Once you add on all the security, error handaling etc the actual speed is far less. Are the adapters and router all the same brand? I don't think the 108 speed has actually been ratified yet anyway; try running on b or g and see if you get better results.

Wireless security is pretty pants anyway. But better than nothing. Only allow your vaios MAC address to connect as well; this helps (a bit).

Very good choice! :) You should as a rule wear them in a bit, but it doesn't take long to do this. I was throwing mine around nicely after about 100miles.

My favourite home page is that lovely big white page. I think it's called blank ;) I really don't like home pages, I always want to go different places when I open up Firefox and waiting for a home page to load each time is annoying, for me anyway.

Ahh the good ol' days ^^ Both OS's have their uses. I love my Mac, but I use my PC more because of the apps we run at work and the domain environment we have.
