It is because of the weather. When air cools down it becomes denser thus your engine chucks more fuel in.
Temperatures have been below 5 degrees most of the time.
Generaly during winter you will see your economy drop off by about 3-4 MPG.

Hang on... First thing to check are all your fuses.
They are located on the passengers dash when you open the door. Also check the fuses under the bonet where the battery is (they are under a cover).

You can increase your cornering speed by fitting some good coilovers.
Engine wise: pannel filter, remap, full exhaust system, and cam's it might make 125-130 bhp with all that.
