Computer was showing 37mpg when I calculated 39, unusual as the 172 computer seemed to be always optimistic.
Just to check im doing it right - was dividing the litres by 4.54 to give me gallons. Then dividing the mileage by the
fuel (in gallons) that I used.
Cheers

Sorry if this has been done to death - but im so impressed with the economy of my 182! When I had the 197 I never saw over 28mpg (which I wasnt too disappointed with) But after bringing the clio back from North Wales to Leeds when i bought it a few weeks back, it averaged 39mpg which was mainly...
Recently bought this clio 182, ive been slowly getting it up to my standard! Last weekend was claying it and giving it a good wax, then after doing a thorough interior clean I found it still smelt of stale smoke inside from the previous owner. So took it down to my friends valeting company today...
I agree mostly - find that the climate control is more fiddly then just having a dial (find you have to look at the screen which is a bit dodgy when your driving). The auto wipers seem to work ok - not always doing exactly what you want but not far off!
The xenons however I feel are great -...
I seem to be changing a lot recently - need to keep this one as its the 4th this year! Ive gone for a 182 this time - loving it!
Its a 55 plate with 26 k on the clock, planning on a ktec splitter and possibly a milltek exhaust.
Which tyre had low pressure? lower pressures usually give you more grip to a point! if the front were lower than the back this could cause the back end to be more lively.
After having a 172, then a 197 f1, followed by a civic type r ive gone back to a 182!
Car is a 55 plate black 182 with both cup packs - (although not sure what makes up both cup packs?) 25k miles :)
Cant wait to pick it up!
Here are some pics I took of my mates Fiesta ST :)

Think it looks pretty well myself!
Saw a nice looking black 172 (with 1.2 badges) pretty sure it was a 172 anyway parked outside halfords. Think it was lowered and it had a front splitter
Looked good!
My mate put GAZ coilovers on his 172 PH1 and to be honest it made the car rubbish on back roads, maybe they needed setting up properly though. He ended up selling the car before setting them up.
