    i'm running pirelli p zeros now, don't rate them in the wet; good but not great. as said, contis are good in wet. i liked them. will have to get exaltos next methinks!

    I rang the fella at ERS, nice guy and v.informative. However he told me £330 for Gates belt £360 for Daeco belt. + approx £20 for aux if needed. How come it was £280 4 months back?!! And how much does LTR charge, if Winston's reading... Want my cambelt changing asap.

    Once the belt's done just make sure you keep both hands on the wheel, and expect some weird torque steer when overtaking or the like. I'd keepp it original too. Enjoy.

    £3.47 for two in Tesco Extra. Cut down one of the front ones and stuck it on the rear wiper. Work well, quiet etc. And cheap as chips.

    Had two bungee ropes in my boot when car went to bodyshop for repairs to the boot. Came back with one bungee and this. (Click on image to maximise) It's the long black thing, is elastic and is branded Renault. Has this No. 7700836268 on it. I threw it aside when the car was delivered...

    you must have got ripped off if your beeny hat cost more than my 'whole wardrobe'. out of interest jlo what do you consult in? car exterior design? sorry to be a 'hater', but painting a car's emblem in a matt finish red isn't aesthetically pleasing, BIG OR CLEVER. Purely my opinion.

    from the door? from the inside, the triangular panel behind the mirror pulls off, just grab and pull. beneath you'll see three bolts. and probably some electrical wires. disconnect and undo connections. 'Re-fitting is a reversal of removal' Ha ha :approve:

    all seals are A OK, the whole system is only a few months old, and was expertly fitted; by me:approve: I just found the heat shield was unattached in places and popped out to B&Q to get some wing nuts and washers. can't do any harm to secure it, when the exhaust's cooled down.
