The new Cupra R (2004) will be £18k with 220bhp and all the toys (even includes a tracker). The Cupra has an established reputation nowadays, I reckon the Megane will need to meet it head-on on price to sell in any volume.
No mention of 4wd though. 220bhp in a front-drive car is a lot. Looks-wise its great IMO, proper in yer face design. Theyll need to price it to compete with the CTR.
I thought you could disable the whole thing - cant remember how though. Same sort of thing as disabling the auto headlights. Damn wheres that handbook when you need it??!
When its new it should be ok. Check that the glovebox door is a good fit though.
You will get the following niggles:
SERV and AIRBAG lights on - seatbelt pretensioner wires under seat
Washer bottle leaking
exhaust rattle at 4000rpm
but none of these are life-threatening.
Oh yeah...
It means they vary what they do according to your speed. So if they are on normal i.e. wipe wipe wipe, and then you pull up at a junction, theyll switch to intermittent. Then when you pull off again theyll speed up.
Its not like the 172 which actually senses the raindrops, but it does work...
What res do you want photos Ivan, do you want the full fat 500k jobs or would you like em trimmed down to 1200 x 800 or something?
Thought Id better ask before I fill your mailbox with 40 megs of stuff..

Its 30mm if you believe Eibach. I would worry less about the drop and more about what you want to achieve. If youre after the sexy slammed look like Jillys then go for 40mm. If its just to improve the handling and a smaller drop then Eibachs are the way to go.
