The boominess gets less as the silencer gets covered in carbon. My Magnex gave me headaches when it was first fitted - got better over the next couple of thousand miles.

They sell all sorts of stuff like this in car shops. Itll only work within the limits of your ECU. If the ECU can adjust the timing to take advantage of the higher octane it will make a difference. If not, its just more poo in your fuel that you dont need.

Ive driven both, though owned neither. They are very similar. Both stupidly quick, Cup more so in standard trim. There are more goodies available for the Willy, but thats just because the 172 is relatively new. Cup handling is er, entertaining in the wet, not as competent as the Williams...

Perfectly normal while the engine is new. Mine used 2 litres in first 3k miles. Still uses a bit now, about 1 litre between services. 2 blobs on the computer = about half a litre by the way.

The only time the dealers can match the banks is if theyve got a 0% deal or something like that. My dealer had a 1.9% deal when I bought mine, otherwise Id have gone to a bank.
