Cup is 85kg lighter (about 7%.) So its a smidge faster (0.1) to 60 - same top end. But theres no ABS, which is a pretty major limit of how hard you can push unless youre alone on the main runway at Heathrow airport, or a racing driver.
As far as I know the Cup lacks the following:
HID headlights
Leather / Alcantra Upholstery
Climate (though you can get it as an option on the Cup)
ABS (!!!!)
Traction Control & Cruise Control (on latest 172 models)
and various other bits (including spare wheel!) that dont matter...
Depends entirely who you buy from. If you can speak to the previous owner, or better still meet him / her, you can make a judgement about the sort of life that the car might have had. Buying from a dealer youre pretty much blind, and yes the muppets at the dealer may well have had a bit of fun...
If its the same items on the schedule as the 12k service then it sounds a wee bit steep, although prices do vary in different parts of the country. Make sure you know what youre getting for your money, and if the service jobs are the same for the 12k and 24k services, make sure you pay whatever...
