2nd and 3rd year warranty is a dealer warranty even for UK cars. As Chad says, not everything is covered, and on some items you might be asked to make a contribution.
If I was going to spend say £5k on a turbo or supercharger conversion Id want to see all the things Id normally associate with a £5k transaction:

Theres just so little available. The 1.8 16v has been around for how many years? 10+, and only now can you get serious stuff like turbo conversions. You need to be a real hero to have a go at serious stuff on a 172.
Roamer should have some good stuff in the next few weeks though.....
Just a Magnex exhaust and a Pipercross filter on the power side of things, Rolling roaded at 188bhp at the fly (158 at the wheels). No idea what it was before.
