Hi Sue, and welcome, It doesn't matter if you spent £10k on fixing the car, it does not add any vaule to it. £7.5k is way over priced for a private sale. Try more like 6-6.5k and you may actuly sell it.

I think the price reflects the risk involved. I mean if this was a striaght car it would be worth 9k+ I dont know anyone who knows a 182 inside out. Any volenteers in the Worksop region?

Welcome mate, if you wanna spend an extra 3k on two exhaust pipes get the 182, but if you wanna do some serious tuning get a 172 and use the money you save to tune!

I had a pug 205 Diesel for 2 years, not one thing went wrong and they do 60mpg. Mega cheap to run and you can pick one up with no MOT for £150-250 or a good one for £500. They look much better than cheekychento.

Williams will cost an arm and a leg to keep running. The pug is not that much slower and costs less to buy,insure and run.
