dutty - the definition of a chav, according to the OED is: 'a young lower-class person typified by brash and loutish behaviour and the wearing of [real or imitation] designer clothes'. I do agree with some of the above comments though, while I'm not blameless, this forum does need to be...

Robert, thanks for the reply mate. My stalk is always in the automatic position, but I need to move it and then put it back to auto for the wipers to work initially,.. Is that normal? Do other people's wipers just come on when it rains?

Having re-set it and started to drive like my old self again ( ambulance driver + blue lights ) I've been getting 35-36mpg from 3 weeks of combination driving over approx 1200 miles. That's with climate on...

Let's just be honest 172/182 MkII owners are richer - you're just inverted snobs. Ha ha

    Mk1's are the best....

Soft - the front end on the MkII is more aggressive, less Twingo (like the MkI)
  29. john.med

    Mk1's are the best....

MKII looks so much more modern, the MkI has silly little front lights. IMO the MkII has a much more flowing line, and as above the MkI has an inferior dashboard and what... no climate?! eeck, don't know how you kids manage ha ha
