I find I have to use them once, at first after switching the ignition on ie. I have to move the stalk out of auto and back to auto,.. then after this they're generally really good; only had to override them a few times, and only had phantom rain the once (the wipers were wiping, but there was no...
Neons, chrome wheels, 'samurai' bodykits,.. any non OEM bodykits, illuminated washer jets and rear silencers, come to think of it anything your dealer doesn't specify on the option list is wrong.
WRONG.
WRONG, unless you watch 2 fast 2 furious and read Max Power, have 12 fingers, webbed...
Think I've finally sorted the old bags out!
i'd neglected to fiddle with the wires under the passenger seat (in fact didn't think there were any there til yesterday whilst munching on a KFC around the corner from work at St Helens)
Anyway I undid them all and pushed them back together...
Drive around any part of europe and you'll see twingos, 206s any small car with the 'euro' look.
The best I saw were in Germany and usually with modestly sized rims; maybe around 13/14" and with wide wide low profile tyres... Don't know why we haven't adopted it; especially as the big (US...
how many RS owners are we (me included) out there stalking?
I was trying to catch a glimpse of a black 182 driver on the M56 from Chester today,.. whilst appearing not to be
no it doesn't make me hard (just accounts for my superiority complex), I was just one step away from claiming my Dad's bigger than his Dad though...
I give up too; tired and finally bored.
Cheers fellas.
Have resisted the urge to batter the lil dark-skinned french tart.
I'm surrendering, gonna book her into the Stealers as soon as I can.
I've tried, I've failed.
Who's yo Daddy, ya bi-atch?
Mate, my first car was a 1.6 Cortina Auto... s**t right, but as a student in my first year is was ideal and cheap at £90. When it rained it wouldn't go. I had to pull up and dry the contacts and condenser to get it going. However I didn't dress it up in a tracksuit...
Was this you, on Friday morning around 10:30? (feel like Nick Ross off of Crimewatch)
I was in the 'hurried' black 172 that had chased you briefly and then went down Stanney Lane, passing at the roundabout...
Was in a rush to be somewhere for work.
I had the SERV light come on, then another light came on and went off, the SERV light remained however. I switched off and on: Normality resumed!
I BLAME THE FRENCH! I even had dashboard display issues on the bimmer (once).
As you know Mitch, I've had issue with the SERV and airbag lights...
I think the main contributing factor is water; there's always more water on the n/s due to the guttering of our roads. Alloy rims don't rust, but they do oxidise; forcing the tyre away from the rim so air can escape.
I can only imagine that with the drive and 70% of the braking using the...
I'm from Crosby - black 172 Mk II, all original thank God (apart from the rear silencer - was an urgent fix that one, and it is the same diameter as the rest of the exhaust and hidden a la 172).
Aint no drugdealer wannabe wheels on my car, nor is there a wing the size of a dining table on...
My lights have gone wrong again...
I've replaced every connection under my seat now; with your B&Q's finest connectors - light went off, but after a day is on again.
Doin' my nut in. Main Dealers are all fully booked for a week at least.
Effin' french state controlled motor company...
wider aint always better mate. The larger contact area will eventually reduce the pressure exerted on the whole of the contact area; if that makes sense. The clio is a light car too, not needing to spread it's weight any more than necessary.
I'm finding the 172 mk II a lot better on 195s than...
On mine it was the large multiconnector at fault. After advice from a very friendly chap on this site I took it apart and cleaned it (like the above post says; under the driver's seat) with zippo fuel.
It's the wires that come from the same source as the seat belt tensioners if that helps...
