Its so clean, if you just saw a before and after shot you wouldn't believe it was the same car.
Sorry for my stupidity but what does the fog actually do?
Just read link, ignore my question :o
I have seen on with climate control and TC as factory extras, was silver but it was definitely a cup before anyone makes a smart comment...
Personally I didn't see the point, plus was for sale for 7k, and that was only 7-8 months ago.
Yeah, I think that's what is on there at the mo. I can't remember what I bought in the end! They were new a few months ago, but even then the discs were shagged. Didn't have the money at the time so just waked new pads on as they were almost dead. But MOT time and I know they won't pass, so...
Thats not bad, think im going to get some from NW performance, £90 for OE ones and then some super cheap pads from somewhere. Seems like the best option.
Have fitted rear pads before and I guess the discs are pretty easy too.
Then all I have to do is stop the exhaust blowing and hopefully it...
The air hose thing works really well, sounds a bit stupid but it works really well. But its best if you can find where the water is coming in to the boot!
I forgot to mention them as well, i siliconed mine but no luck... think mine leaks cos someone ran into back of me!! I WILL sort it when...
Yeah, i am pretty sure the technicians at uni could do it for me, they are pretty cool with stuff like that. I just spoke to a trader on here and they said that they would worry bout the quality of the bearings at that price. More expensive bearing = less point in doing it!
Do you think it will be a lot of hassle? It will be nearly half the price doing this ^^. Have you tried pressing the bearings, cos like i said I haven't but i can't imagine its to difficult?
Which ones, the Renault ones are like £130ish i think? Guess i would get cliosport discount on...
Am needing some new rear discs and was just wondering if anyone had any experiance or advice of buying discs and bearings seperatly.
Were the bearings easy to press. Im pretty sure we have a press at uni that i can use, but i have never pressed bearings before.
Also did they last or is it...
LY 182, you were heading towards town at about 5 - 5.30 ish on Welford Road, just before Homebase traffic lights.
Was dark, but car looked great as the LY's always do :o.
Will
Yeah i got it, massive pain as you have to find the leak and seal it.
1st check rear clusters are sealed properly, then try boot seal. They are the obvious places but if its like mine then it aint that simple to find.
I took boot interiour out and when it was raining sat there and watched...
Not possible, you can never get sick of snowboarding or snow! Well maybe snow!
Is there anyone else coming from near Leicester, we can start the convey from there if anyone is up for it?
Im up for joining the convoy, if thats cool, but aint sure where you are all meeting. I will be coming up the M1 from leicester, where do you think is best for me to meet you lot?
I have them, wanted OE pads but didn't want to pay s**t load for them, I got them pretty cheap and I have no complaints. Fitted them with HC's and they pull me up very well. I only use them on the the road and never had any fade.
I really found it hard to decide. I got a cup because IMO;
less to go wrong and also less expensive to service (belts are cheaper etc), well i hope!
I have had cars with and without both AC and cruise and I don't miss them to much.
I love the colour and wheels.
I like the idea of the cup...
I would get rid of the sub etc.. but thats cos personally i aint fussed bout that sort of thing plus extra weight. Think the foot wells look quite good actually, although maybe turn them down a bit if you can (more of a glow).
Strangely i kinda like the visor, looks good on a silver car...
Haha most of the time, watch out for the S/C clios:cool:
Track i think is alot more to do with driver, but ti think b roads the smaller clio will have a huge advantage. My mate had a 535d ( i think) with M kit (whatever that means) and down a tight b road me and my other mate were so far ahead...
Forgot to say, i have never bought a car that makes sense financially. Only cos I wanna have fun. Don't get me wrong I aint rich but when i buy a car fun is at the not/ near the top of the list. What i will sell it for is bottom of the list! But im young a stupid!
If you buy an M3 with...
Don't get me wrong I think M3s are amazing cars, and it does sound better when you tell your mates you have an M3 instead of a clio which you have just spent 4k on modding. But an e46 M3 must be pushing 15k ? his clio will be 6k. Not lossing money on a 15k car is great if you have that money...
If you want more power I say go for it, personally I wouldn't do it at the moment as i don't go on track and don't have any money.
All this "you could get something faster for 8k" is crap cos you already have the car so you aint going to be spending 8k, you're just spending 4k. You got an...
Sorry i have no idea but this thread might find you some people that might! Think a couple of guys on here have ordered some.
