    Finally got my private plate sorted and will be transfered intime for my 18th birthday!! What do i do in terms of insurance? I tell them the plate has been changed... Will this make my insurance go up at all? As it looks more appealing to theifs? Cheers for any help in advanced? Matt

    What that man said. Ring AutoGlass. They will come replace it/fix it... All you need to do is show them your Cert. of insurance and they will claim from the insurance company. It doesnt affect your ncb. :)

    I agree with that to some degree.. I understand getting one if its related to the owner ie. name, or initials. But getting a plate that spells out what car they have got is abit silly.. Just a waste imo...
