i have a 182 and i never used spring clamps, came off fine without.

yes, this one is for coilovers but its pretty much the same. it tells you how to remove the shocks etc, so its just remove old springs etc and put them back on the new shock then refit. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=381744

that goes for the fronts aswell, i changed my springs and shocks all round 2day, the n/s front compressed so easily whereas the o/s didnt.

ye. i only use them to get high enough to put the stands under anyway but im just scared 1 day it will bloody fall before i get the stands under.

a new belt is only around £20, a battery at the most maybe £50-£100 depeding what type/where from. depending what warranty you have, does it say parts and labour, if so tell them to p**s off. the diagnostics you may have to pay for though.

Re: Why are insurances closed at s**t times! dont think this will work, im pretty sure this only works if the car has insurance already on it in someone elses name.

it would probably be easier to just get some bigger washers. mine was annoying me for ages, everytime i went over a bump i could hear it knock. 10mm deep socket to get nut off, big washer on, nut back on, job done.

understatement of the century. fitted mine today, pita to get the old ones out, spent half an hour trying to remove the rubber without damaging the raised metal rim then realised this also had to be removed. t**t. lol
