    monitor sensor plug is behind the passengers side skirt underneath the car an the pre cat connection is located near the steering rack, not easily accessable!

    should be a wheel bearing on the right side of your car. check your balljoints on the front, too. could be 2 related faults.

    switching 172 cats is just disgusting work for people with childish hands. imo it is worth the hassle to upgrade to a 182 mani, cat/decat exchange is about half an hour then...

    try soldering the throttle-pedal sensor near the clutch pedal first. if it is not getting better you can start changing parts...

    it´s fine, the cat saves remaining oxygen and reacts it with the emission gases which causes a constant oxygen content behind the converter.
