hey guys, over the last month or so the 182 has started to do something strange, usually if im sat in slow moving traffic you can keep the car in 1st and let go of everything and the car will pull slowly and smoothly by itself. but recently if i let off everythng it still pulls slowly as normal...
+1
I actually prefer driving in the wet in them, i have come up to a few corners in the wet and thought 'uh-oh' then not so much as a flicker. sheer brilliance, the tyre i will be staying on from now on. plus £375 all in, i wont complain.
i too would like to know this, exactly the same boat as u buddy, service approx 10wk ago and oil level below min, i used the 5w40 tho so i dont think its anything to do with oil grade.
so ur after 1 that can have the auto light function attatched to it, if this is the case then for the 182 i paid £514 from autoglass. probably be able to get it cheaper tho.
i had uprated suspension on my last clio 1.2 but its speed bump central near me n not even the nice 1s, the horrible plasticy 1s in the middle of the road and it drove me mad. dont fink i cud handle that again, im a wuss lol. is the remap worth it on a standard car
alright guys
ive got a ff182 n had it almost a year now and not had any problems yet ( gona regret sayin that). the car is completely standard but i was just wondering if there are any mods to improve driveability, just like making it feel a bit nicer to drive, maybe improve mpg, that sort of...
dont wana start a new thread so i wil just ask here. iv noticed that my engine sounds a bit 'tappy' as you put up. recent oilchange, valvoline 5w40 fs. could the oil cause something lie this. its when the car is warm and ideling i can hear it.
^ last thing you want to be doin if ur losin it in a 1.poo.
but on a more serious note, glad everyones ok and next time u r probably more likely to see it coming. its amazing how much good you can take away from a crash.
any sort of sign and graphics company should be able to whip them up for u in less than 5min. just be wary tho, they tend to charge a lot for people who just turn up for things like this. the amount of vinyl involved will cost the company less than a few quid, especially white so dont get ripped...
hi guys, i was in 1 of the work vans the other day (sprinter) and noticed that the engine revs very nicely, as in as soon as i touch the throttle the revs are up and as soon as im off the revs are down instatly. I have a 182ff and have noticed that there is a slight lag between me letting off...
i work for a sign company. if you havent done anything like this before i would use the soapy water method. make sure the car is clean but stay away from waxes and silicone based stuff. wet the car body and the vinyl with the soapy water and place it on. when you have it where you want i would...
i had a similar problem a while back but without the abs light. when i turned the car off all was fine but a little further own the road and the lights returned. someone suggested the brake lamp switch above the brake pedal. this was correct and ive never had the problem since. its in the guides...
Hi guys. tonight the gearbox has failed me. more specifically 2nd gear. i can select any gear except 2nd. it just wont go in and it makes a rumbling feeling. its feels like when you try to put the car in gear without the clutch pressed in and you get that resistance feeling/vibrating. any1 have...
insurance companies ae w*****s. its like if u upgrade your brakes and declare them, ur insurance goes up. WTF. surely if u have better brakes you ae less likely to go into someone
Hey guys, what do you reckon a good price for 4 of these is fitted, balanced, valves etc. I have just had 4 fitted for £375 all in. Wt do u reckon, bargain, about right or ripped off
my 182 does this everyday. But only on the first start of each day. The first time the car just dies but the second time everything is fine.
I have now got the car starting first time each day without fail. The trick is to turn the ignition on, wait a few seconds (like 5), then turn ignition...
I insisted that it be replaced but they sed no, i told the insurance company that i would sell the car due to me not feeling confident that the boot floor would hold up so well in another bump. they paid out for the cost of the repairs and that was that
