I'm after a new phone. Currently got a D900, but don't want a slide phone anymore. I know the 6300 is a basic model, doesn't have many toys or anything. But has any used one? Are they any good for the simple necessities like sounds quality when on the phone, texting etc.
Lol cheap then :S
Same with any performance car though I guess.
I'd love a liquid vee, but I very much doubt I'll have 20k to spend on a car next year.
Really quite fancy a clio v6 next, purely cos they look and sound sh1t hot!!
I just need to know what the running and general maintenance costs would be. I would need to save up and wait til I'm 21 (next July).
So at a guess what would:
Insurance be - when 21 with couple of years NCB...
Very very bright pink RSi with a body kit. Also had pink on the inner parts of the spokes. Looked pretty mad. Saw it parked outside Spar last night at about 8pm
From what I've heard no1 has produced a supercharger for a 172. Theres naf all space left under the bonnet to fit one lol.
Personally I would go for throttle bodies and a few other mods.
pro's - nice cars, fairly fast for what it is (bear in mind its a 2.0 NA), cheap to run (32-40 mpg), few simple mods make them looks/sound much better.
con's - prone to a few common problems such as the std exhaust corroding and falling off, a few annoyng noises like rattles and whistling at...
03 flamer 172 - 30k miles. Mint inside and out bar a few stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet. I'd get a car bra but I don't want my car to look like a tuc shop selling toblerones.
Also need wheels refurbed due to the pervious owner not being able to park close to the kerb without...
Maxogen is like 350 quid. You won't many gains from any induction kit so I would suggest BMC CDA (about £180) with CAF routed to your fog light or lower grill
I was gonna suggest getting the wheels refurbed in anthracite (same as the trophy wheels) saw a silver 182 last night with them and it looked well good. carbon splitter and lower it 30mm to :)
When I'm behind someone with my lights on, it appears my left xenon light is much brighter than the right one in the reflection off the person's bumper in front. I've checked the car when stationary and I can't tell theres much difference. I was driving behind my mate a bit ago and he mentioned...
Following on from my thread about my car feeling "uneasy" when driving. I had very low tread on 2 of my tyres. I've had all 4 replaced. I also had a very minor buckled nearside front wheel. So I swapped that wheel with the back wheel to hopefully help improve the handling.
It still feels a bit...
mines been lowered 25mm at front and 15 at the rear and its on 17 inch wheels. very harsh ride tbh. The roads in england are sh1t as well which doesn't help. Pot holes etc shudder through the car, its not good.
